Our bricks are washed and screened to reduce electrical conductivity, then compressed and dried. We do not heat-treat or sterilise them and we do not currently test for pathogens, so we do not describe them as pathogen-free. If your programme requires certified sterilised material, tell us before ordering and we will be straight with you about whether we can supply it.
EC is measured by the 1:1.5 volume extract method. If your specification uses saturated media extract, tell us and we will supply the equivalent figure. The 600 g low-EC brick suits seed starting, potting mixes and hydroponics where close control of nutrients and moisture matters, and can be blended with fertiliser or soil amendments as required.
We are a manufacturer. Husk intake, washing, drying, blending, compression and packing all happen at our own facility in Peravurani, Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu. Visitors are welcome.
Yes. Private label is our most common brick programme. We print to your artwork, pack to your unit count, and label each brick with the batch reference so a consumer complaint can be traced back to a production lot.
It depends on brick dimensions and carton configuration, so we confirm the loaded figure against your exact specification before quoting rather than giving an estimate.
The 1:1.5 volume extract method. If your specification uses saturated media extract, tell us and we will supply the equivalent figure. The two differ by roughly a factor of two.
No to both, and we say so plainly. We wash and screen but do not heat-treat, and we do not currently test for pathogens, so we do not describe the product as pathogen-free. We do not hold organic certification.
